Joe A ★ 4 · Oct 2025We enjoyed our time here. We went in September, so it was not over-crowded. The lake level was a little lower, which made the shore line easier to access. We planned on buying firewood while we were up there, but it was late in the season and they were completely out, so we ended up not having any campfires. Sound really travels across the lake. Someone with property nearby was shooting their gun a lot, daily. They probably have a little personal shooting range on their property. The constant sound of gun shots was a little hard to get used to. The trail around the lake is a perfect hike, we enjoyed doing that. The campsites themselves are very nice. The bathrooms are super dark and super stinky. We were hoping to meet the camp host, but they were reclusive and we never saw them. The area is very pretty and I did not see any poison oak. We will definitely come back.
Shannon S ★ 5 · Sep 2025Very clean sites. We were there Sunday through Tuesday so im not sure how the noise is on the weekend since the sites are pretty close to each other but we didn’t have a noise issue and were able to walk to the water no problem.
Samantha J ★ 4 · Sep 2025The campsite is lovely! So beautiful. There are water spigots situated close to every site and the bathrooms are clean. The reservoir is refreshing and fun. My reason for taking one star off is because we managed to book the one campsite right next to the campground host. She was a lovely lady; however, her generator was not. I want to go camping to hear nothing but the birds and crickets, not the drone of a generator 20 miles from any town. Be wary about booking campsite #12 as it is right next to the host. She is courteous about quiet hours and keeping it down at night, however it did detract from my experience slightly.
