Great place and very private for groups. We alway loved this location. This was our First Church Family Camp. Unfortunately (reason for 4 stars), the day before our trip, a fire restriction was enforced for the campground, even having fire rings were not safe enough for a bonfire. We had already bought lots of things and planned on grilling but all of that took a bad turn because of the restriction. We had to scramble at camp to make things work for a large group of campers. Besides the fire restriction put in place literally the day before, the location is always a great place to camp for large groups.

We camped at the Madrone site with our family. The site is spacious and definitely can accommodate a big family. Has many picnic tables, grills, and a huge fire pit. Bathrooms were clean upon arrival and didn’t smell too bad. Note there is no cell service in the area. Overall, really enjoyed our time there with our family.
