Good things: Gorgeous location with beautiful lake and sierra mountains in the background. Small campgrounds make the place very quiet. Bad things: Mosquitoes...Mosquitoes ...Mosquitoes ... A lot of them. We had horrible time dealing with the mosquitoes. Road - GPS took us through highway 20 and 18. But we had to stop at 11 miles short because of the 11 miles unpaved road. Only 4-wheel drives can make it. We had to come back all the way to I80 and take 89 at Truckee. Even that had 2 miles of unpaved road at the end, but it was OK.

We had a great time. It rained on us a little guess still fun.

Love this campground but it was the second year in a row where not all of the bathroom facilities were working.
