Hector M ★ 5 · Oct 2025Beautiful campground with a very nice host. Location is incredible. Found some amazing places when walking around. Will definitely be coming back here.
Frank L ★ 2 · Oct 2025We were very disappointed that we could not have a campfire & the only reason was our camp had no host. It rained the whole week we were their. The neighboring host could have also been at our camp also.
Paul L ★ 5 · Oct 2025We stayed for 14 days, weather great and did a lot of 4 wheeling and didn’t fish this time. We had a very large brown bear cross our trail below Milton res. At roads end! Carry bear spray !! The weekends were very crowded for the end of September but we loved the camp host, he was very personable and helpfull! We have a 25’ Rv pulling a Geo Tracker and our pad had plenty of room for both. The Rv dump station was very clean and handy to get in and out of with a $20 dump fee.

About
East Meadow Campground sits on the northeastern shore of Jackson Meadow Reservoir, a roughly 1,000-acre lake tucked into a rolling valley of pine and fir where the Sierra Crest and English Mountain rise on the horizon. The water is the immediate draw: the reservoir supports boating, canoeing, water skiing and a designated swim beach nearby, while anglers target rainbow and brown trout (a concrete boat ramp is at neighboring Pass Creek Campground and boats can be moored near some sites). A stretch of the Pacific Crest Trail runs along the lake's eastern side, open to hikers and horseback riders…
